GENT'S HALF HUNTER POCKET WATCH, in 9ct gold (tot wt 64.16g), by Pinnacle, white dial with black Roman numerals, black hands and a subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals and black hand, plain case marked L.A., works cover inscribed 'Presented/to/Harry Doughty/As a Mark of Esteem/By His/Fellow Employees at/A & T. Burt Ltd./24/12/24'. Appears to be in working order, very fine.
A.&T.Burt Ltd, Dunedin were electrical trade specialists. They also produced a product called Burt's Rabbit Exterminator, a portable machine for injecting pressurised poisonous gas into rabbit warrens.
