MASONIC, presentation trowel, in sterling silver with faux ivory handle (tot length 22cm, width 5.7cm), hallmarked for Sheffield 1933 by maker 'W&H' (Walker & Hall), inscribed on top surface of trowel 'Presented to/Most Wor.Bro. E.C.Smith GM/On the occasion of his laying/the Foundation Stone/of the New Temple/of/Lodge Kororareka/No 304/at Russell/Aug 5th 1946'. Hairlines, otherwise good extremely fine.

Most Wor Bro E.C.Smith was the Grand Master of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Zealand.
