SWITZERLAND, Bern city and canton, bronze medal undated (c.1881), by Durussel, (22.08 g), minted from bronze from the Bronze Age pile dwellings in Morigen (Canton of Bern), Estavayer (Canton of Friborg) and Auvernier (Canton of Neuchatel), obv. view of a pile-dwelling village, rev. The three place names between reed stalks. Toned, extremely fine.
