MACEDON, Kingdom of, Philip II, (359-336 B.C.), AE 20, double unit, uncertain Macedonian mint, (8.03 g), probably issued posthumously c.336-315 B.C., obv. Apollo head to right with tainia, dotted border, rev. naked youth on horse to right, above **FILOPPOU*, below horse fulmen, E to right, (cf.S.6696, SNG ANS 833-4, SNG Greece [Alpha Bank] II, 427-8). Good very fine, well centred, rare denomination.
