SYRIA, Seleucia ad Calycadnum, Philip I, (AD 244-249), AE 35mm (19.22 g), obv. radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. busts of Apollo and Artemis facing each other, (SNG Levante 778 legend placement); second coin, similar, Trebonianus Gallus, (AD 251-253), AE 28mm, (14.88 g), obv. radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right, rev. Clipeus and wreath set on altar, vexillum on either side, (SNG Levante Supp 212 [This Coin) (illustrated); third coin similar, Valerian I (AD 253-260), AE 32mm (16.19 g), obv. similar as above, rev. Apollo and Artemis busts facing each other, (cf.SNG Levante 766 [same obverse die]); fourth coin, Gallienus, (AD 253-268), AE 31mm, (12.19 g), obv. similar to previous coin, rev. Nike advancing left holding wreath and palm, (cf.SNG Levante 787 variety); fifth coin similar, obv. laureate bust right, rev. radiate god on horseback right, (SNG Levante Supp 215 [This Coin]) (illustrated). Fine - very fine, rare, last coin flan crack and holed. (5)
