TITUS, as Caesar (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome Mint, issue of A.D. 77-78, (3.44 g), obv. around reading outwards T CAESAR VESPASIANVS, laureate head to right, rev. CERES AVGVST around, Ceres standing left, holding two ears of corn with poppy and sceptre, (S.2437, RIC 974 (Vespasian], RSC 31). Lightly toned, weak on some of the reverse letters, good very fine and very scarce.
