AUSTRALIA, WWII, an original front page of the Sydney Daily Mirror dated Tuesday, August 14, 1945 with headline, 'Domei Reports Decision/Surrender/Acceptance', framed under perspex (approx 32x42cm). Age toned, some edge nicks, small tears, folds and creases and taped around edges and with a taped strip across lower area, otherwise very good and interesting.
Domei (Tsushin) (Federated News Agency) was the official news agency of the Empire of Japan. It was disbanded during the Allied occupation of Japan.
