PORT PHILLIP, Kangaroo Office, restruck gilt bronze (12.49g) one ounce piece, 1853 'Pure Australian Gold', plain edge. From original dies by W.J. Taylor, London, restrike by Stokes 1919 (?). Good extremely fine and extremely rare if not unique.
