MID: LG 9/10/1945 p4953; CAG 22/11/1945 p2497 - to Acting Commander Alan Jeger Travis, 22nd MS Flotilla, RAN - For courage, endurance and skill whilst commanding HMA Ships Pirie and Geraldton as Senior Officer of the 22nd Minesweeping Flotilla in escort duties for a period of more than three years under hazardous and trying conditions between the coast of Australia and the Philippine Islands.
