PAMPHYLIA, Perge, in the name of Alexander III, (336-323 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.89 g), dated CY 10, c.212-1 B.C., obv. head of Herakles to right wearing lion skin with dotted border, rev. Zeus seated on throne to left, eagle in outstretched hand, pine cone and I to left, star below throne, to right **ALEXANDR[OU]*, (cf.S.6713, Price 2922, DCA 314, SNG Cop 867). Lightly toned, a few scratches good very fine and scarce.
Ex D.G.L.Worland Collection. Previously CNG Auction 419, lot 199. Also Gemini XI, lot 58.
