IONIA, Ephesos, (202-c.150 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.71 g), obv. bee with straight wings dividing E - **F*, dotted border, rev. stag standing to right, palm tree behind, to right magistrate's name **TIMANQH*, (cf.S.4387, Kinns p.90, example in Vienna, SNG Cop -). Mild surface roughness, otherwise extremely fine and rare.

Ex D.G.L.Worland Collection. Previously Noble Numismatics Sale 126, lot 2665. Also the Brian Bolton Collection and previously Nomos AG Obolos 3, lot 205 with tickets and ex Noble Numisamtics Sale 117 (lot 4547).
