INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION, 1862, prize medal in bronze (75mm) (BHM 2747; Eimer 1553), by L.C. Wyon, uniface with two fold-over prongs on reverse for attaching to exhibit to indicate a prize winning exhibit, obverse, Britannia seated left and surrounded by female figures bearing the products of Art, Science, Industry and Agriculture and with a lion in foreground. Toned and with a few oxidation spots and a small bump at top right, otherwise very fine.
