PAMPHYLIA, Aspendos, (c.370-333 B.C.), silver stater, (10.564 grams), obv. two naked athletes as wrestlers grasping each other by the hands, **PO* between, dotted border, rev. slinger advancing to right about to discharge his sling, forepart of horse before, behind **ESTFEDIIU*, countermarked near edge, all within dotted border, (cf.S.5396, BMC -, cf.SNG Von Aulock 4571). Some hoard patination near edge, otherwise nearly extremely fine and very rare.
