NERO, (A.D. 54-68), gold aureus, issued c.66-67, Rome Mint, (7.23 g), obv. laureate head to right of Nero, around IMP NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS, rev. Jupiter seated left on throne, holding thunderbolt and sceptre, IVPPITER CVSTOS around, (cf.S.1930, RIC 63, C.120). Good very fine and scarce in this condition.
