MACEDON, Kingdom of, Perdikkas II, (454-413 BC), silver heavy tetrobol (2.29 g), obv. rider wearing petasus at nape, prancing to right, holding two spears in left hand and reigns in right, rev. forepart of lion in incuse square (S.1491, Raymond 215). Light golden tone in fields, very fine and rare.
