ATTICA, Athens, silver tetradrachm, (160-159 B.C. or 128-127 B.C. revised date), (16.85 g), obv. head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple crested Athenian helmet, ornamented with Pegasos, dotted border, rev. owl standing right, head facing on prostrate amphora, to left a cornucopiae with grain, **A QE across, on left side across AX/IO**S* on right side across in two rows **HLI/KLE/HPC*, letter E, below on amphora ME below in exergue, all within olive wreath, (cf.S.2555, Thompson 421d [same dies], example in Paris, HGC 4, 1602). Extremely fine, slightly off centred on obverse, very rare.

Ex Frank Kovacs, USA, Auction Sale XIII, June 3, 1998, (lot 39). There is a difference of 32 year less between Thompson and the suggested revised chronology.
