SYRIA, Kingdom of Seleukid, Alexander I Balas, (152-145 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (16.63 g), Antioch Mint, dated SE 164 (149-8 B.C.). diademed head of Alexander I Balas right, rev. Zeus Nikephorous seated left (S 1784.4b, HGC 9: 875a). Obverse struck slightly off centre, lightly golden toned in devices, nearly extremely fine.
