M. PLAETORIUS M.F. Cestianus, (67 BC), silver denarius (3.44 g), obv. turreted head of Cybele right, forepart of lion behind shoulder, globe before. rev. curule chair, control symbol to left, bead and reel border (RRC 409/2, Sear 350). Traces of lacquer on reverse, otherwise very fine.
