VESPASIAN, (69-79 A.D.), silver denarius (3.35 g.), Rome Mint, issued (77-78 A.D.), obv. IMP CAESAR VESPASIANVS AVG around, laureate head to left of Vespasian, rev. COS VIII, Mars standing left, holding spear in right hand and trophy in left, (S.2288, RIC II 938, BMC 202, BN 178, RSC 126). Toned, good very fine, rare.
