FAUSTINA JUNIOR, wife of Marcus Aurelius, (d.A.D. 175), silver denarius, (3.360 grams), obv. FAVSTINA AVGVSTA, draped bust to right, wearing diadem, rev. SALVS, Salus seated to left on throne, feeding from patera a snake from altar, with arm on throne, (S.1501, RSC 195, RIC M714). Very fine.
