Ex I.S.Wright Sale 47 26/11/1996.^Donald Macleay Connely, boot repairer, age 19, born at Kempsey, NSW; Enl.22Dec1914 at Liverpool, NSW in Rfts for 13Bn; Emb.11Feb1915; served at Gallipoli, WIA at Quinn's Post, GSW to fingers of right hand; attached as Driver, Transport Section in Egypt and also served in France; RTA 14Dec1918; errors in spelling of name in service records e.g. McClay, McCleary, Connelly. Correct name is Donald Macleay Connely.^With copy of Service File and other research.
