MACEDON, Kingdom of, Alexander III, (336-23 BC), silver tetradrachm (17.01g), Amphipolis Mint, struck 325-23/2 BC, obv. head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin, rev. Zeus Aetophoros seated left, holding eagle in right hand and sceptre in left, ithyphallic Herm in left field, (Price 78, Troxwell, Studies, issue E2). Very fine.
