BOEOTIA, Thebes, (363-338 B.C.), silver stater (12.17 g), Olym., magistrate, obv. Boiotian shield, rev. amphora in concave field, spearhead to right above [off flan], across field to left O**L* and to right YM, (cf.S.2398, Hepworth 77, BCD Boiotia 558, HGC 4, 1334). Lightly toned, well centred, very fine and rare.
