ATTICA, Aegina, (490-480 B.C.), silver stater, (12.22 g), obv. smoothed shell sea turtle with trace of dots down dorsal spine, Countermarked with scallop shell, rev. small skew pattern, (S.1858 [p.183], Asyut Group VIIa "late collar", No. 541, cf.SNG Delepierre 1681, Holloway VI, 12). Off centred reverse, otherwise about very fine with collector's packet description.

Ex CNG, USA, December 2, 1998 private purchase.
