JULIA MAESA, Grandmother of Elagabalus and Severus Alexander, silver denarius (2.61g), Rome mint, issued A.D. 218-22, obv. bare headed and draped bust facing right, IVLIA MAESA AVG around, rev. Pudicitia seated left, drawing veil over shoulder and holding a sceptre, PVDICITIA around (S.7756; RIC IV 268; RSC 36). Reverse struck from warn died, nearly very fine.

Ex S.J. Green Collection, purchased from DNW Auction 253 13/04/2022 (lot 1454 part).
