POSTUMUS, (A.D. 260-9), silver antoninianus (3.81g), Treveri mint, issued 2656-8 AD, obv. radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, IMP C POTVMUVS P F AVG around, rev. Emperor standing right, holding spear and globe, SAECLI FELICITAS (S.10983; RIC IV 325; RSC 83); another (3.62g), Cologne mint, issued 263 AD, rev. Mars advancing right, nude, carrying transverse spear in right hand and trophy over left shoulder, PM TR P IIII COS III P P (S.10974, RIC V 57; RSC 273). Both struck from slightly worn reverse dies, minor flan loss at 6 on second, otherwise extremely fine. (2)
