MAXIMIANUS, (A.D. 286-305), silver argenteus, Siscia Mint struck as Augustus 294-5 A.D., (2.79 g), obv. laureate head to right, around MAXIMIA NVS AVG, Rev. around VICTORIA SARMAT, the four princes sacrificing over a tripod in front of a camp gate with six turrets, plain exergue, (S.13098, RIC 46b, RSC 625f). Minor scratches, good vey fine and very scarce.
