BEETLE BROOCH, in gold (9ct; 3.16g; 24.5mm), by Aronson & Co, features an almost complete circle decorated with imitation pearls and across the centre is a flying beetle with an oval opal body, a ruby-like gemstone head and wings set with imitation pearls, pin-back. The opal with a crack, otherwise very fine.
