SHOVEL BROOCH, c1896, in gold (15ct; 3.00g; 51x11mm), attributed to maker, Goldsmiths' Hall Co, features a shovel with gold rope wrapped handle and in the centre is a circular gold pan with a nugget in the centre and set with a small natural ruby near the end of the shovel, pin-back, on the reverse of the shovel is scratched what appears to be "Po18". Very fine.
