DIAMOND LOCKET BROOCH, c1890, in gold (16ct; 14.73g; 34.5mm), by F(rederick) Basse, features plain circular gold locket with engraved star on obverse and this with an old mine cut diamond in the centre, reverse features a b&w photograph of a family under perspex, pin-back with loop provision for safety chain, in case of F.Basse. Hairlines, otherwise very fine.
