COLONY OF NEW SOUTH WALES, and Queensland, mortgage of pastoral properties in the Burnett District of Queensland, between Messrs J & A Brown of Newcastle NSW and The Bank of Australasia, dated 22 March 1866, for the sum of ?948/15/4, four large vellum sheets, signed with red wax seals. Very fine and scarce.

Ex Alan McRae Collection.^James and Alexander Brown were large scale colliery owners in the Hunter region of NSW.
