SWEDEN, Frederick I, copper plate money, four daler, 1734, (KM.PM74), salvaged from the wreck of the Nicobar. Corrosion and edge chipping, nearly very fine and scarce.

Ex Alan McRae Collection, with his display card.^^The Nicobar sank off Quoin Point, Capetown on the 10th July 1783, whilst enroute to the East. 300 pieces of Swedish copper plate money were onboard.
