USA, COLONIAL, William Wood's Rosa Americana Coinage 1722-24, George I, twopence in bath metal, undated (1722) (Breen 8; Martin 2.1-B.1). Chocolate brown patina, well struck, uncirculated and one of, if not, the finest known.

Ex John J. Ford Collection, part IX (lot 84), previously from Lorin G Parmelee Collection, 25/6/1890 (lot 523) and FCC Boyd Estate.^^
