SICILY, Selinus, (467/5 BC), silver tetradrachm, (17.34g), obv. Slow quadriga driven left by Artemis, Apollo drawing a bow besides, **SELIN-ONTI-OO*, rev. Selinos standing left, holding phiale and laurel branch, cock to left standing before an altar, bull on pedestal to right, fig leaf above, **SELI-NO-S* around (SNG ANS 691, SNG Lloyd 1222, BMC 25, HGC 2 1220). Pleasant cabinet tone, extremely fine and scarce thus.
