SICILY, Syracuse, struck under Gelon I, (485-480 BC), silver tetradrachm, (16.58g), obv. charioteer driving slow quadriga to right, Nike flying above crowning horses, rev. diademed head of Arethousa right, four dolphins around, **SYRA-K-OS-ION*, (S.926, Boehringer 38-41, 46-7, 49, HGC 2 1306). Nearly very fine and scarce.
