PELOPONNESOS, Elis, Olympia, 108th Olympiad, (352-348 B.C.), silver hemidrachm (2.57 g), Olympia Zeus Mint, obv. laueate head of Zeus to right, rev. F A across. with eagle standing right, with short legs and smooth tail feathers on and Ionic capital, (S.2895, BCD Olympia 139 [p.58 Leu 90, May 10, 2004 same dies], BMC 83 [same dies], SNG Cop.388, HGC 5, 440). Very fine, toned, reverse slightly off centred, very rare.

EX BCD Collection, rom CNG Triton XIII, January 5, 2010 (lot 2175 part), previously from Spink America Auction Sale 6 January, 1999 (lot 634 part). Lot includes descriptive collector's ticket in 2x2 flip with BCD circular ticket.
