PHOENICIA, Tyre, (4th century BC), silver reduced shekel or didrachm (8.36 g), year 14 (336/5 BC), obv. Melqart on winged hippocamp right, holding bow and arrow, all above waves, rev. owl standing right, head facing, crook and flail over shoulder, regnal year to right (HGC 10 359, S.5915). Struck from worn obverse die, cleaning scratches on fields, graffito 'M' under date, fine/ very fine.
