ANTONINUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161) AE dupondius, (11.95 g), Rome Mint, issued A.D. 142, obv. radiate head of Antoninus Pius to right, around ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P TR P COS III, rev. Genius of the Senate standing left, holding branch and sceptre, around GENIO SENATVS, S C across field, (S.4275, RIC 660a, C.404, BMC 1336). Brown patination, extremely fine, with some hoard patination on the reverse, rare.
