USA, TEMPERANCE SOCIETY STATEMENT 1834, white metal (43mm) by Davis, obv. standing man with "TEMPERANCE" on shield and chained drunkard seated on rock behind, rev. twenty-two line pro-Temperance statement with facsimile signatures of James Madison, Andrew Jackson and John Quincy Adams. Brilliant, rare. Holed at top, extremely fine.
