THESSALY, Pharsalus, (480-450 B.C.), silver triobol, (2.674 grams), obv. Athena head of archaic style to right in close fitting helmet, rev. horse's head to right in incuse square, **F A R* to right all within incuse square, (S.2187 [£140], BMC 1). Nearly very fine and rare.
