C. ANTIUS RESTIO, (c.47 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.45 grams), obv. jugate diademed heads to right of the Dei Penates, DEI PE[NATES] behind, rev. Hercules facing with club and trophy, C.ANTIVS C.F. before, (S.-, Cr.455/2a, Syd.971, B.Antia 2 [£140]). Off centred on obverse, banker's marks on obverse, otherwise fine and rare.
Only 30 obverse dies used (as calculated for all types issued by this moneyer), according to Crawford.
