L. JULIUS, (141 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.506 grams), obv. Roma helmeted head right, XVI behind, rev. Dioscuri on horseback to right, L.IVLI below, ROMA in exergue, (S.100 [£50 VF], Cr.224/1, Syd.443). Even grey patina, very fine and rare.

Ex Frederick Knoblock, New York c.1957. Only 27 obverse dies used for this coinage according to Crawford.
