BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES, one pound, Invercargill 18-, printer's proof, imprint Perkins Baker & Co, London, stamped Specimen low right, in pencil on lower margin 'Altered from blank - to this 6th March 1862'. Dirty towards the top, otherwise very fine and very rare.
Ex Spink/Christie, Melbourne Sale 23 May, 1995 (lot 1031) and a Printer's proof from the Perkins Baker Archive.
