SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antiochia ad Orontem (Antioch), Caracalla (A.D. 198-217), silver tetradrachm, (11.998 grams), issued A.D. 214-217, obv. laureate head of Caracalla to right, around [AYT] K M A **ANTWNEINO C CEB, rev. eagle standing facing, head to right, wreath in beak, between legs star above crescent, around **D*HMARC EX [UPATOC TO D], (cf.S.2649, Prieur 235 [p.42], Bellinger 33 [ANS Num. Stud. No.3], p.26, plate III,12) another similar example (11.782 grams). First coin extremely fine with some mint bloom, second coin very fine, both scarce. (2)
