S C across, Nero laureate, advancing to the right in the flowing robes of Apollo Citharoedus playing a lyre held in the left hand, around PONTIF MAX TR POT IMP P P, (cf.S.686 [£160], RIC 416, BMC 376). Attractive dark patina with highlights, very fine and rare.
