PARTHIA, Kingdom of, Orodes II, (c.57-38 B.C.) silver drachm, (4.006 grams), Rhagae mint, obv. large size bust wearing a diadem to left with short beard without wart, crescent behind, star before, rev. archer seated right on throne, seven line inscription, monogram **PR* below bow, (cf.S.7443, Sellwood 47.8, Shore 240). Bright, attractive nearly extremely fine, rare.
