NUMERIAN, (A.D. 283-284), antoninianus, Ticinum mint (3.725 grams), issued under Carus as Caesar 282-3, obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right of Numerian around M AVR NVMERIANVS NOB C, rev. Numerian standing left with baton and sceptre, around PRINCIPI IVVENTVT (sic), in exergue VIXXI, (S.3425, RIC 106). Good very fine and scarce.
