EDWARD VIII, 1937, set of four privately issued Cyprus pattern/proof 45 Piastres, struck in (.925) silver, copper, Barton's metal (gold plated copper), and golden alloy. Obverse features crowned bust of King similar to that of George V on the 1928 45 Piastres. Reverse features two lions passant, and is akin to the design of currency Cyprus coinage of the period. Plain edge. One of only 350 sets issued. (4)
