SYRIA, Kingdom of, Antiochus VII, (138-129 B.C.), silver drachm, (3.918 grams), Uncertain North Syrian mint, obv. diademed head of Antiochus VII to right, fillet border, rev. Nike standing to left, holding a wreath in left hand, to right **[BA]SILEWS ANTIOCOU*, and to left **EUER GETOU, to left two monograms, (cf.S.7096, SNG Israel I (Spaer) 1990, M&M list 266 July 1966 No.18, cf.SMA 273-282, BMC -, ACNAC Houghton -). Bright, very fine, rare.
