HADRIAN, (A.D. 117-138), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 125-8, (3.135 grams), obv. laureate head of Hadrian to right, drapery on far shoulder around HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, rev. around COS III, simpulum, sprinkler, jug and lituus across field, (S.-, RIC 198, RSC 454). Nearly extremely fine and an interesting reverse.
